Daryl,
Thanks for the links on your site to our forum and BuddyMap. If you folks don't mind, we may make your spring rally. We need to make a trip to Richmond, VA sometime this spring and we'll try and work the two together. I'm originally from Hickory and grew up in the Richmond area before 'Uncle Sam' called for my assistance in 1967! Liked the old man so much I stayed with him for 28+ years.

I guess I can put up with 'Rockin' if he shows up??

John,
I grew up in Winston Salem... A couple weeks ago I was going stir crazy in the cold weather here in Maryland, so I decided to build a new web page for the club.. I wanted to put usefull links in there for our members, sort of like a one stop place for anything you think you might need. I am still building so it may change, but we all seem to enjoy the Excel Owners site. I like keeping up with where folks are too. Enjoy the page and if you have any suggestions, I'm all ears.

YES please come to the Rally if you can. Check out the Calendar page and get the information. If you need anymore information, drop me an email. Take care John.. as I told you before I did 20 with the Navy..

Daryl

We really appreciate all Daryl's efforts in establishing the website for the Club.

Chief, if you show up at the spring rally, be careful with your checkbook. Our club dealer, Bubby Settle, has been known to sell a coach right out of the campground during a club rally.

Our club welcomes any Excel owners to our meetings. We have a great group of folks and always have a great time.

Paul

Another Excel came in to our park (VP) today. '02 Excel 35 RKE. Met the owner and he is very much a senior and doesn't know anything about computers. He enjoys his older Excel as he bought it new from "wrongways" folks in Guthrie Center, IA. Tom

Yesterday while heading south on I-37 outside San Antonio, TX we spotted an Excel headed north pulled by a pewter colored Chevy.

We are in the Coushatta Casino RV Resort in Kinder, LA. Walking along this morning stubbled on a 2000 28' SKO. Talked with Butch and Mary Ann from Springfield, MO. They bought it new! Nice folks that "lurk" as guests here. Butch says he really learns alot from the forum. He especially likes the Best Practice and Workshop's stuff. They were at the Missouri Excel luncheon and the Peterson Luncheon at Vic Palms in Donna, TX. I knew they looked familiar! When I gave them my handle, they looked surprised to see me sober this late in the morning....what's up with that? Butch and Mary Ann....come on in and join the fun! rockintom

Great job 'Rockin' of ferreting these "lurkers" out -- okay Butch and Mary Ann, we've identified you, now it's time to join iRV2.com and our Excel Owner's Forum. Welcome in advance!

We just pulled into Lagoons RV Resort in Rockport, Tx. There are at least 3 other Excels I saw on the way in. I'll check them out later.

Paul and Cheryl,

Do I detect a sense of competitiveness here? Trying to "one up" me!

I love it! I gonna go for a walk and see what I can find....May have to make something up if necessary. Hope there's no beer joints along the way! The pressure is on!

rockin'

Tom,

I know you love the competition so I must tell you that there are 6 Excels here at Lagoons in Rockport. Spoke to one of the owners this AM and told him about the fourm. He said he will check it out. By the way he has the same model as you, it is an 06.

Paul
