I read where PI is about to announce a new "Excel Innovation". Anyone have a clue what this is all about?

Nothing……. they will be making travel trailers again after 13 years. I think the one they designed will have full basement storage, I guess no manufacture of travel trailers offer this feature. I am sure Bryan will be updating us soon.

I can't wait to see the floor plan specifications for the new 2011 Excel Limited 36 CFE we seen in Smith Center under construction. It had full body paint and a fiberglass roof shaped like what the Winslow is using. It has a nice desk area and an interesting twist on the location of the entertainment center. They managed to squeeze in 3 TV locations on this 4 slide unit!

It's undercover for the time being. It will be exposed when the time is perfect. A little birdie told me so.

Back to the future again. Avion (Fleetwood) was building a basement model travel trailer in the late 1980's. So it is not new.

This model is prominently featured in the 2011 brochure. I found a complete gallery of photos at: 2011 Peterson Excel 36CFE - Fifth Wheel - Tri-Am RV Center, Florida Tennessee RV Dealer

They don't have this model yet in Moriarty, NM, but the sales guy I spoke with has seen it at the plant. Says it is really nice, but the living area is slightly smaller for a 36' due to the room divider/ent.ctr. You can clearly see this on the floorplan. Don't know how badly I really need a TV in the kitchen. I cut myself enough while cooking, even without distractions.

Where did you see a 2011 brochure? It's not on Excel's website...only the 2010 brochure is.
