Tom,

Think about us when you are having fun.

Was 59º here yesterday and this morning it is 11ºwith a wind chill of -3º.
I still don't understand why you and Donna are not here so I can buy your lunch

Also a warning to all: do not take a picture of Tom. Your camera will disintegrate instantly.

Jim

Or a least use a "wide angle" lens to get his big head and gut both in!

Thanks red! We'll be thinking about you! Will have my bride take some pix to share! Tom

Tom,

We will be sure to look you and Donna up. We'll just look for Mr.& Mrs. Peterson as I know you won't be far away.

The luncheon was very nice! Got to see and visit with many Excelers. Food was very good and the door prizes were plentiful. Just one pic to let see what this thing was all about. Tom

Well, I finally made it to the valley (RGV) but too late to make it to the luncheon. Who would have thunk that it would take three and a half days to go 490 miles.

Sunday, had the clutch linkage on the truck fail just as I was parking the trailer for the night. Guess what! Kinda hard to find anybody to work on a clutch on Sunday evening. I got the truck into the shop first thing Monday morning and explained that I wanted to be in the valley on Wednesday. They said that they would do their best. Well, got the truck out of the shop at 6:30PM Tuesday, hooked up the trailer and was on the road by 7:30PM. Oh well, we can stop along the road and sleep.

HAH! 45 miles north of Corpus Christi we hear a pop! Stopped and took a look and the rear tire on the passenger side was shredded. In luck, just about 100 yards to an exit to a Valero Station. Limped over to the station, parked and got ready to change the tire when I noticed that the tread was off of the front tire on the driver side as well. Hrm, only one spare. Out of luck. Called Good Sam Roadside assistance to see if they could locate a couple of tires (or 4) for me. No luck. 7AM Wednesday I called Wingfoot (Goodyear commercial tire) in Corpus Christi and they sent a truck with 4 replacements to be there at 8AM.

I was back on the road by 10AM but too late to make the luncheon as I was still 3 hours away. Bummer! I would have liked to have been there.

Curt,

Were these the original G614s? How many miles? Did you go back with new G614s? Hope you didn't have any trailer damage. Sorry you and Bonnie didn't make the luncheon.

We had a good time. Tom, sorry Donna was under the weather. Hope she is felling better today.

Paul and Cheryl, was nice to (briefly) meet you!

If you are down here next season, we have to get together for happy hour somewhere.

I'll have you know it is going to be the mid 50s this weekend. I will be there next year with my MD 20/20 gift and you can reciprocate with a large bottle of Grey Goose Vodka and I will bring the cranberry juice.

Doug and Jutta,
We will get together next year. We only stay in the Valley for 2 months so we will make it early.

Larry,
Stay away from Rockin he'll get you in trouble.

Paul
