Thanks for the update Milk.....We're gonna try to come up to Woodland to visit y'all on Sun. 9/25

Bill and Jane Bond ('11 L36 CFE) popped into our park the other day for a couple of days. Poor ol' fellow didn't have a clue who I was since he's not on internet much!!! We did get a couple of issues rectified on their unit while they were here. Very nice couple. rockin'

I hadn't realised the California Redwoods were considered to be in the Northwest. They're sure as hell a long way south of where we live, about 50 crow-fly miles (70 freeway miles) from the Canada/US border. We're actually further north than Victoria, the capital of BC.

The trip to the Red woods went Great, only one wrong turn!! The trees are just magnificence!! as wood worker/wood turner they are something to marvel. a lot of Board feet of lumber and the burls wood make a great bowl. The oceans views along the Southern Oregon coast are too great for words, the waves braking on the rocks and vast beaches are a must see, pictures do not do them justice.

As many of you know Phil Sullivan is always up to something. Usually much better behavior then Washout. Well, when he arrived here at Valley Of the Rogue State Park early, he was unable to get into his assigned site since it was taken. He started to whine about having to move on Thursday. Somebody made a statement the we could take a donation to pay for him to move over to the KOA and we would not have to hear his whine. At the time we raised $40.00 to help him out.

Behind the scenes we raised even more. Attached is a photo of Phil with what was raised. $320.00 The photo shows Phil with the wad of money. Feeling quilty taking this money, he tried to give it away. He couldn't even give it away. It had printed on it "NOT LEGAL TENDER"

You need to check your spellin' Washout. Last I knew to use the word in this sentence, should have be spelled "hear". Look's like you have been in the OP to much last night. No need to have Happy Hour for you at that time. You started to early, but "It's 5:00 o'clock somewhere"

Bill Bond told me about you. Something about some other gentleman fixing his problem. You just connected two together! The is goin' to be standing at the gates down there to welcome you!!
