I had the iRV2.com folks run a query of their database to determine how many members had joined iRV2.com and our "Excel Owner's Forum". Fifty-one members as of today! Kudos to all who have been spreading the word about the "Excel Owner's Forum" -- we'll be at the one-hundred level by fall. Thanks!

John, I must "jump in" here and give credit where credit is due...
You Sir are the one that not only took the lead in contacting us, but you've been the one as well to "keep this ship afloat" and on the right course...
Thank you first of all and then thank ALL of YOU for your support of iRV2.
We think we have something special here and it's a testament to the MEMBERS that make iRV2 the greatest destination for the RV'er on the web.
Safe travels to you all,
Bob Gregory

John,
Do you think the Board Admins could allow our "member numbers" to show under our user names each time we post? 5 years from now, I'm gonna be pretty proud that my member number is in the 40's. Anyway, just think that it would be a nice "perk".

Virgil, there is really no number assigned to each manufacturer forum member, as the karma title is something that forum leader John adds manually.
We can periodically query the database and determine the number of total members of a certain group, but regrettably our software isn't set up for numbering.

Bob,
Appreciate your response. I was off in never never land envisioning IRV2 Excel Owners Forum member numbers on the back of Excels going down the highway.....similar to FMCA numbers. A source of pride for the member and free advertisement for the forum.
We're doing our PDI today on our L36CLO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Virgil, I like your idea! Unfortunately, I did not keep track of the order in which folks joined our "Excel Owner's Forum" and have no way to re-capture that data. I have started keeping an email address listing of all of our members (information available in the "public profile" of each member).
All of us are leery of receiving additional spam and/or junk emails. I assure our members that their email addresses will not be provided to outside parties.

Welcome to our 54th and 55th members, "d.duin" and "Bouvbear-Yuma,Az". I was remiss in not mentioning at the start of this topic, our first two "Charter Members" were "Highgturn" and "LindaH". The three of us met on RV.net and Linda asked the question why there was no Excel Forum -- the ball started rolling from there.
On edit, while I was typing this post, our 56th member, "L44SPD" visited the forum.

I think I am going to assume the number 47 as my personal number. I like numbers.

Virgil,
Given your registration date of 22 March 2007, the number 47 is probably very close -- Congratulations on being the 47th Excel Owner's Forum Member.

Hello, our Excel is a little older than most here I think. Our Excel is 38 years old and attaches to the bumper.
I stopped in because I seldom see the name "Excel".

Rubiranch,
Welcome to the Excel owner's forum. Please consider joining the forum. Undoubtedly, you could have the distinction of owning the oldest Excel. If only your coach could talk. I bet it could tell the story of some good times. Last summer we went to Smith Center and while we were there for several days I had the chance to enjoy the pictures of Excels evolution down through the years. They adorn the walls of the PI office building and the new Service Center. Please upload some pictures of your Excel so that we can all enjoy a piece of the past.
