excel questions from a potential new owner

hey all, found an 08 excel wild cargo on a lot and am considering purchasing. prior to going and looking it over, i had seen where there were issues with the slide floors rotting. while looking this one over, i found 2 slides that were affected. i guess my first question i have is should i avoid this trailer, or for the right price, get it and take to factory to have them repair. i like the trailer, as the rest seems pretty solid still. appreciate all comments, as i dont want to buy something that has issues that could be really bad. thanks

Hi and Welcome. There were some issues with some model year slide floors. I would call Ralgh or Jack at PI and see if you can get a ball park number for the cost of repair and use that to wheel and deal. I dont think this problem would be a deal breaker for an otherwise good coach for the right price. Also concider the coast of travel and time to go to SC. I can tell you this, they will fix it better then new.
