We are new to this forum and looking for some information.

We are still doing our research on our RV upgrade. The Wild Cargo 39TKE is on our short list and we are seeking feed back from those owners. Others on our short list are NU-WA 360SB, Carri-Lite 37RGO.

We have been unable to locate that floorplan near by here in Texas so we are looking for some insight both pro and con.

Thanks,
Bill

Hi Bill,

We started full timing in our TKE39 in August. We carry a Honda Goldwing in the garage when on the move and use the garage as another room when we are stopped for more than a day or two. The pull-down screen for the ramp door makes the garage into a very nice screen room. The living area is roomy enough to be workable and the layout is flexible.

I will PM you with my contact information in case you have some more specific questions.

We ended up buying the first TKE39 built and I don't know if that contributed to some of the problems we have had, but most have been minor and Peterson has been very good at supporting us. Overall, we are very happy with our Wild Cargo and look forward to touring the country with it.

Cheers,
Chris and Helen

Bill,
We were recently in Smith Center picking up our new unit and coming off the line was the most beautiful Wild Cargo you have ever seen. It was in the new grey color fiberglass w/ blue & silver graphics . Made me a little sad that I had ordered ours in white... I took pictures, but need to download off my camera. It was a sight to see!

If you are looking for a manufacturer that offers not only quality construction (I should know, we have been in construction business 40+ years), but outstanding service after the sale, then you need to go with Excel. We have owned both Carriage and Excel RVs and you cannot beat the customer support you will receive with an Excel.

We are in Texas also and purchased from M&G; also offer great customer service.

Chris and Helen,
Show off!! Edna and I still have to work fulltime for two more years, but then watch out. I noticed your TV is an F350. How is that working with the TKE39? We have an F350,SRW, 2wheel drive and plan on moving up to the F450. We are looking at toy box RV's because Edna has an Emboridery Business, but we have also been looking at the Honda Gold Wing Trike. Got your PM and will check in there with you.

Sue,
I'm with Virgil, I would like to see those pictures also. Our email is SqDancingMan@cs.com

Thanks for the feed back and hope to hear from more Excel owners.

Thanks,
Bill

I think the new gray color makes a very outstanding unit. I really thought hard about that color with my new unit, but with my 03 SKO I had been in tempts between -5 to 118. So I decided to stay with the traditional white, felling that this color will be better in the hotter climates.

Virgil,
Apparently I took them with Mike's phone. Last week I tripped on the 2nd step coming out of our new trailer and bam over I went, causing a Lisfranc fracture on my foot requiring surgery with nuts & bolts. Will try and hop on over to Mike's truck and download so yall can see what we saw!

ready to post New Grey Wild Cargo pics

Monaco Mama, Thank You for the help! I wish the pictures could have done this unit justice. It was a beautiful unit.
The new exterior color with the blue/silver graphics make the unit a real standout. Talk about classy.
I think the owner might have been from Texas, so maybe we'll see it around sometime.
I told Bryan that if he would show this unit around, he might not even feel the recession. He did mention he may make this the new "standard" color in 2010!

Congrats on the Wild Cargo. It is the best and will be our next rig if we ever get around to it. It has to be one of the best, if not the best, toyhaulers on the market. Good choice.
Phil
