We will be picking up our new Limited 36GKE with our "new" 2007 F550 and begin our new life as Full Timers. I have a concern that the Ford's brake controller won't work with the Excel's disc brakes. Does anyone on the forum have experience with this set up. Do I need to add a third party brake controller? I appreciate the help. This is a good forum, I read more than I post but with moving into the fiver in March I am sure I will participate more. We look forward to seeing a lot of you out on the road.

Our 2007 F350 brake controller works just fine with the disc brakes. We did nothing except plug it in.The disc brakes are definitely worth the money.

We've got a later model Ford, but ours works well with the disc brakes. David

...also try scanning Diesel Forum - TheDieselStop.com forums and see what you find. Seems like I recall the first Fords to come with the IBC had issues. Cannot recall when they were corrected. Sorry!!! David
