Fresh Water Tank

We have been using our 09 33TKE and have been using the water out of the fresh water tank and the pump will run dry with about 2 inchs of water still in the tank. Our 03 trailer I could pump water with the pump after I had drained the tank.

Is this normal or do I have a problem??

Dan it doesn't sound as if it would be normal. I would start by locating and looking at the pump connection at the tank and see at what height the pickup point is. Just looked at a photo of my tank, its at the bottom. I believe the pickup and maintaining prime would keep the pump operating.
