The last option discussed was interesting , I thought…I have a Glide Ride and I do like it for stopping the trailer hop. The only time I questioned it is when doing curves it is hard for me to feel if the trailer is starting to get top heavy and when to know when to back out of it. Right now I have only around 5,000 miles using it and need more experience with it, to make any final decision..... Book2 (PS Bruce a photo with the thread)

I like ours. It does what it says it does...well. I got mine at/near pure cost and that makes me even feel better about it. Ours is #289 made and of course I had to do the recall on it. No problem...they just sent me the parts and it took about 6 minutes to do update.

I wished it had the up and down cushioning like the AirBorne and Trail Air...but it doesn't.

While I have never used the Glide Ride, Folks that have them seem to really like them. I do have a Trailair and like it. Any time you are pulling with an MDT or HDT some sort of air ride hitch system is needed. I have not pull with the pickup much since I put it on the Excel, so I can not give an opinion if it made a difference that way. I do know that since going the HDT route I really don't like pulling with LGT (Little Girlie Truck) much.

Hey, I like my LGT. An unlike Howie, I wish it had that "man-step" on the tailgate and a heated steering wheel, too! David

When ordering our 33TKE, I was trying to cut corners where possible and didn't order the Glide Ride.I'm not a rich guy like Rockin. I thought,"we've had two 5th wheels and never needed one". The day I picked it up and took it to where we store it, 4 miles on I-465 was enough and called PI and ordered one. It makes a world of difference. So save yourself some money and order it on from the factory. If anyone needs a "standard box" or an anchor for their boat, give me a call.

We retrofitted the Glide Rite to our current 5th wheel and are quite satisfied with the improvement. The fore-and-aft "chucking" and surging when passing over pavement seams, bowed or cupped pavement sections and when starting from a stop or braking is pretty much eliminated. My wife commented that towing is much more comfortable for her over in the passenger's seat since installing the Glide Rite.

We have the Trail Air and love it; no more jerking & bobbing!
