I just bought a new 50 cc small scooter to take camping with us. I wanted to ask if anyone has any recommendations on where or what brand to buy a transporter to slide in the reciever hitch on the back of our 33RSE Excel.
Thanks in Advance

Be careful! There's more bounce and whip on the back of a trailer than on the back of a truck, which is what most receiver hitch-mounted carriers are designed for. I researched it pretty hard when buying my Excel and opted for the Hydralift, which is likely more than you need for a scooter. But I wouldn't use any carrier that doesn't have two attachment points.

Check with a competent hitch shop. They'll probably have some sad stories about receiver-hitch carriers on trailers.

We used the versa hauler behind our cameo 5er all the way from South Texas to the Balloon Festival in Albuquerque NM and didn't have a single problem...we used ratchet straps it never moved.....I am sure there will be stories to be told reguarding everything in life....so the receiver hitch rack worked fine for us....

I have been looking into this rear mount hauler for some time now & couldn't believe the difference in how the reciever hitch is mounted on the backer of the 5er. The scary ones are bumper mounted only. The Excel is securely mounted to the frame just liike you would mount a class III or IV to your truck. To my surprise, the Excel has a threaded bolt on the side of the reciever to ensure a tight fit that doesn't allow movement once the insert goes in. I would never haul on the back of the 5er if it only has the bumper mount. I purchased a rack that is suppoed to haul of to 500 lbs on it & modified it to Transport our scooter.
Thanks to Everyone for their help.
