The road trip to Alaska took it's toll on the backside of our sliding pantry. The rear panel has come loose at the bottom shelf and needs to be reattached (more securely). Problem is that I can't figure out how to remove the pantry from the "closet". How can I do this. I imagine there's some simple trick here.

Welcome back Jim and Bona! Regarding the pantry, I haven't had one out, but it appears to me (at least on mine), I'd empty the pantry and release the rail stop on the end of the moving rail (facing you as you look at it). The pantry would have to be at the end of the out travel to do the release. I imagine a very small pocket screwdriver may do the trick. On mine there is 1 rail on top and 2 on the bottom of the pantry. If you need pix I could do that. Worse case scenerio, you would have to bend the stationary rail end stop out so the pantry could come out for service, but I'd be worried they they may snap off when rebend back to the locked state. I doubt if the correct way to do it. Clear as mud, eh? HTHs rockin

You won't believe some of the photos I have of the Beast...
This is the way my pantry is installed. To remove the shelf assembly, remove the screws that attach the slides from the pantry box.
Rockin' what a 'Tag team'.

By gosh, work, you are right. I thought I saw screws in places I couldn't reach. SKIA was wrong! What the workhorse says!!! Well, the only thing I can say is I didn't do it on purpose! Jim listen to work......he's got it going on! RockinKnowNothing Now back to cleanin' house, something I know too well!

Thanks for the help guys. I needed a little push to get me started on this. Great photos, Work! You two really are a team. Notice that this isn't one of those questions everyone jumps in on.
Work, the install on my top rail is same as yours and there's no problem getting at the screws. However, my bottom rails are installed upside down compared to yours. The flanged side is attached to the bottom side of the shelf assembly, facing up, and the last pair of screws is about 2" behind the face of the cabinetry when fully extended. All I can think of is to first detach the top rail and then, with my lovely assistant acting as a jib crane to steady the shelf assembly which will also be properly supported below (cribbing), extend the shelf assembly as required to reach the last pair of screws - assuming there's sufficient travel in the ball bearing slide.
This all sounds pretty "iffy" to me. What do you subject matter experts think?

Mine is all outside the cabinetry........even if they are inside the cabinetry, you should be able to use a 1/4" drive rachet and a #1 Robertson bit (square tip) Robertson and get to them. Suggest working with those before fooling with the other screws....you don't want any addition load on the hard-to-deal with screws. rockin'

Played around with mine yesterday...other than removing the screws from the slide hardware that secures the pantry box...didn't see an easy way.
Some slides have catches/levers on the hardware that will release the two sections of the hardware and allows them to be separated. I couldn't find that on mine. Didn't see a name on my slides to see who the mfg was to get info from their site. I would suggest contacting PI and get info on the slides if they are able to provide it.
I assume, guess, don't know...but there is a hole at the end of the stationary section that will allow a sharp thin object to be inserted when the pantry is fully extended....I pressed against the inside and in the second photo, what looks like a bump stop is visible. I tried to press and pull and close one eye to pull the top part of the pantry out, but not enought hands...not sure if this is the correct way to separate the two but might guess it is?

While investigating a way to get the pantry out....found what appears to be a crushed/damaged gas line that goes to the refrig. Doesn't look good from looking under the pantry. Will have to take mine out to get a good visual of the line....but looks like it will need to be replaced regardless. Hope its a visual thing while laying on the floor!

Removed my pantry box to investigate the damaged gas line....yes damaged!
The hardware on my slides says it is mfg by Accuride, I found their web site and couldn't find my slide number listed or anything close by look...would assume discontinued model. Here is the Disconnect inst in case you have this slide.

Well, I'm not quite as swift at applying all the good advice as I am at asking the questions. But today I did get after the pantry using the best of Rockin' and Workshop.
I have Accuride slides so I looked up the disassembly instructions Workshop provided. Unfortunately my slides are not in the models covered in the various instructions. So I had to resort to removing the screws. Using the #1 Robertson bit as suggested by Tom, I was able to remove the shelf assy from the recess.
Interestingly, once the shelf assy was out I accidentally disassembed the top slide with a slight twist. However, I was unable to use the reverse procedure to reinstall the shelf assy with half the slide attached. Maybe the pros can do it this way. I did finally manage to somehow reassemble the slide. All's well now with about 1 1/2 dozen new brass screws in the reinstalled shelf assy.
Thanks guys!

Thanks to workhorse and skia , I got my pantry out today by removing the screws that hold the sliders to the pantry. When I removed the pantry the bottom sliders fell apart. The edge that holds the bearings in place was bent way out and that is why my pantry would sage down in front when pulling it out. I am going to try to bend it back in shape and see if that cures my problem. I did not have to worry about the gas line as mine enters the trailer under the stove. by the way tom, I also found a bottle under my pantry but it was olive oil and not oak poop

Looks pretty bad....I would order replacements from PI as they should provide the exact replacement and the cost would be competative. Glad you were able to get it removed and determine the problem.

I worked on the slides with a hammer and they look good. If they dont work right when I put slide back then I will order new. I was surprised at how easy it turned out to be able to remove pantry. Now I have taken the carpet out of bathroom and installing laminte. Can anyone tell me why there is a gas line in the toliet stall? ( Tom, it is propane, not what you are thinking).
