Hi, don't really like the search engine here so heres the situation- I have hyd. slides and jacks, the motor continues to run after activation is complete. Happens on slides and jacks. Sometimes it will stp after 5-10 secs I have also had to use bat.kill switch to stop. PI sent me a new pendant which i havent changed out because it occurs on slides also. Thanks for your input. Ray

Ray, If I understand you correctly, after you release the switch the motor continues to run.....does the application continue also, or does it stop and the motor keep running? If it continues to run without the application moving, my best guess would be a solenoid sticking. Just guessing though...I haven't studied the circuitry on the Excel set up. We used a very similar system on our retractable and convertible tops on our vehicles. rockin'

Yes, the application-slide or jack stops when the switch is let off.

Here' some info that gives you some basics.....This info is quite dated and many updates have been made since then. http://www.lci1.com/OwnersManuals/hy...20Gear-Web.pdf

http://www.lci1.com/LIP/0034.pdf As it applies to Excel.....Again.....dated....looks like the start up of '07 stuff to me. rockin'

Doesn't sound like anyone wants to chime in here on this one. I won't hesitate to call PI and ask for Curtis....he is the know-all on the hydraulics on Excels. Heck of a nice guy. Sometimes he's hard to get a hold of because he's on the plant floor alot. Keep trying. Like I said sounds like a sticking solenoid to me. rockin'

Sorry, don't have any knowledge with the system...Read both links and googled info about the system but anything I would say would only be a guess as I don't have the system on my unit and haven't seen it in operation.
