Has anyone been able to access the Excel Owners or Excel Dealers Map lately? I have been unable to access either of them for the last week.

Curt,

i just tried and they don't work for me, but I have noticed some sites today timing out, not all but some. Maybe somewhere they have had some network issues that house those sites.

Curt,
I've noticed that the site was down but didn't think too much of it -- had a new member sign the map on 20 June. I'll do some checking.

I sent an e-mail to the owner/creator of the site. Haven't heard anything back yet. Will keep you posted here.

Still haven't heard anything from the site owner/creator. But, this morning the site is kinda working. I can view the locations but cannot change my location and cannot edit the dealer map that I created.

Maybe it is getting better. Will see.

Well, I just completed my location change and updated the dealer map. It looks like it is running again.

From the owner/creator of Buddymapping:

Sorry about the recent BuddyMapping downtime! The site is still live and should be available permanently. I've been experiencing some issues with the site because it was written using Ruby on Rails. I will be rewriting it in PHP over the next month or so, and performance should improve significantly after that as well.

Thanks Curt -- we have something to look forward to when he completes the rewriting.

Thanks Curt for all the hard work you've been doing on the 'Maps' in making them work and the upgrades in progress.

Yep, it has been sick again for the last several days.

Oh well! Maybe it will be back up before I leave South Dakota.
