I sure hope not! Last week, we got an offer for our house(full asking price!) Yesterday, the lawyer for our buyers contacted us and asked if we could move up the closing date from 9/26 to 9/20!! My wife and I talked it over, and told them that we might need the time to sell all of our furniture and "stuff" in the house.

I just got a call from our realtor, and the buyers now want almost all of our furniture and stuff!!!

If anyone is in northwest NJ, and hears some mad man singing at the top of his lungs, that is me!!!

Full time here we come!!

WOW! That's great. Congrats!

We were similiarly lucky in that we sold our home to a young couple who paid $3,100 more than asking price! But they gave us only 10 days to do the deal. We were packed and ready in 4 days, then the estate sale. We loved our custom built, 2600 sq ft, 3 1/2 car garage, but it was worth being able to FT like we do now. What a life!

Wow, that is excellent. I hope that you didn't use up all of that "house selling" luck. We will be putting our home on the market next spring with the intention of hitting the road in the summer.
Best wishes to you.

How wonderful. Send some of that luck our way, would you? Hope it all goes well and you will be "free" soon.

That is wonderful news. Ours will be going on the market in 2 weeks (in Edmonton, Alberta) and we will also be full time when it sells. I can imagine how you feel. My wife is ready (and very anxious) to go.
