John...I am counting on this last part..and you did NOT depart..you took a hiatus and left me to adopt this Zany bunch!
I do feel funny introducing myself here - since I am not an actual "Excel" owner...but B2 kept PMing and telling me that I needed to introduce myself since I was considered to be your Moderator..so here goes... and this will be the one time I leave my "signature" in a post here...
I am Becky & my husband, SacsTC, is Ron. We have owned our own motorhome since 1988 when we bought our first Bounder. We had one more Bounder before we bought our 2007 Monaco Diplomat DP in Sept 2008. This is the rig that has brought me to this group...in a round-about way.
Thanks Guys for letting me become the "red-headed stepchild" of the "Excel Family"

My husband, Earl, and I just ordered an Excel Classic 30RKE to be delivered mid-January. Some of the options we've ordered are the Thermo-pane windows, washer/dryer, King Suite, and Mor-Ryde suspension w/disc brakes.

We were fulltimers for 5 years before buying another house, but we've decided that we miss fulltiming, and have our house up for sale as well as our current RV (although we like our Lazy Daze a lot, it's too small for us to fulltime in).

Sure hopes this Excel forum takes off!

Hi Linda

My husband and I purchased our 35 excel last may and love it. We are about a yr away from full timing cant wait. We are looking forward to the family reunion may 22 at excel factory weeeeeeeeeee

Hi, just joined. My DH amd I are in the process of choosing our Excel. Hoping to get to the factory this summer. We probably will go with a Limited 30, not sure which floor plan yet. Our goal is to be fulltiming in about 2 years. Thanks for all the great info we've found here.

Good morning all! My DW and I have recently taken possession of a 2004 Excel 33RSE. We are towing with a 2008 ford f-450. right now we are in a seasonal site near Binghamton NY but we hope to go fulltime in a year and a half or sometime close to that. We have absolutely fallen in love with our excel and look forward to taking it on the road.

Hi y'all,
We are Mary Gail (no such thing as just Mary in VA, seems like they always add on the second name)and Bobby, and while we haven't bought an Excel yet, we are getting closer every day. Within the last couple of weeks, we've gotten an offer on the house, passed the home inspection, and are planning to close in 3 weeks. We are going to rent a "transition" condo for 6 months while we order the Excel and find a truck. We both work from a home office, and plan to take that gig on the road full time. We've been lurking around, and have gotten a lot of good info from everyone else's posts.

Since I'm originally from LA, it's not Robert or Rob, but Bobby. BTW, that's Lower Alabama.

Hello everyone, I have been a FMCA & GS member for years but recently joined the forum. My last Rv was in a 89 Elite 36 ft pusher. Between problems of maintenance and my Harley always dirty riding on a elec lift, I moved on to a 37' Damon Outlaw that has a garage, with more room and power.
My first added accessory was a 16 ft flag pole followed with solar panels, and adding 6 cameras to the system all to make life a bit easier. My co-pilot is my biker dog Ultra who rides on my Harley. We have lots of adventures ahead and friends to meet.
Hope to cross paths and meet more Outlaw owners. Happy trails
