Manablock System on Newer Excels

I'm doing this post for Workshop cause he don't know nothing about the Manablock system. And we can't have workhorse in the dark! He knows almost everything anyway, which is good cause we need him! First of all I wanted to show you the roadside electrical plugin area, just to show you 'it ain't got no stinkin' fill door"!!! Now, check out the Manablock....basically it is a manifold that feeds various water circuits both cold and hot. Each circuit has a shut off and on valve. If you want to shut off only, say the toilet, just go to the cold toilet label area and shut it off. I've used it a couple of times already. This is nice cause you can work on just one circuit without shutting down the entire water system. This may be nice if you were in the sticks and say....busted a water fitting or had a fixture go to leaking. Just shut it off until you got back in town and to a dealer! The system comes with a key that allows you to turn the valve off and on. Notice the water filter in utility area...easy service and again has valves where you don't have to shut off the entire system to change the water filter. Also you have the 110V outlet, hand cleaner dispenser, vaccum cleaner service door and fresh water fill valve.

Lots of positive things here as mentioned above. One thing I didn't mention....you can beat on your chest like a Neanderthol when you open your bay door and the guy in the next site says....holy s.....!!! What's that? And you act all cocky and look at him like.....oh my, don't you have one??? (It's a guy thing!!!) High tech syndrome!

Some negatives:
1. More pex water hose needed as every circuit has to run thru the Manablock.
2. Boondocker don't like that you have to run the hot water so long to get hot water to the faucet (again has to go thru the Manablock). Grey will fill quicker do to this.
3.Takes up a lot of room on the roadside bay door opening area. Kinda screws up for the guys wanting to use the slide tray.

Here's a few pix.....check it out.

I hope this help someone like workhorse who's bride won't make an allowance for getting a fresh rig!!!! (that's pretty mean, right there, Lord I apologize".......!!!

You meant every word of it!

Thanks Rockin' and Still for the information and pictures. I'll use them in updating the diagram of the water system when I get the chance.

I'll use this thread for followup questions in the process.

thanks, workhorse

That was a hard one Larry. My watch is to tell time! Sorry.....sometimes I don't wear a watch when working around the rig and that seems like a good place for a watch......not really.....I time my water into the flusher after a black dump. I put basically 15-25 seconds (depending on flow of the parks water) water back into the black tank to cover the bottom of the tank, hence the watch. Somethings it hard for me to count that darn high......know what I mean???

Still,

Don't go tellin' all my secrets now. I remember as a young guy...like high school, a friend of mine had a type 1 VW Bug. The windshield washer jug (reservoir) had a pressurized system. Add washer fluid to a given level and take a tire chuck/air hose and pressurize it. Cool!! This was that way from the factory. We cleaned it all out good and put whiskey or whatever our pleasure of that evening in there and pressurize it. We had a VW washer nozzle inside the car. When we wanted to add a little juice to our Coke we just pushed the button.......maybe that when I got interested in cars!!!!
Boy, those were the days!!!

You don't just make stories like this up!!!

I didn't get one of those fancy wrenches....I'll be calling someone this week...And I knew a fellow who hid his vodka from his wife by storing it in garden hoses so she would not find any bottles. Maybe that is why you get so excited when you open the utility bay door.

That's one fancy util section, you betcha. I wouldn't know what to do with my time if I didn't climb into the middle of my basement at least once each week. Did so just yesterday.

Say, that yellow sticker just to the left of Pure Flow System. Does that say Viagra? Do you need a prescription to buy that trailer?

B2, I didn't get one of those fancy wrenches either. Order two, it will make it easier for Sarah to turn of the water when needed.
