Finally getting around to posting about our meeting with Curtis at the RV Outlet Mall's sale last month in Round Rock, TX. We were on vacation in San Antonio and had contacted RV Outlet's sales and they told us about the show and a "rep" from Excel being there to answer our questions... didn't know the "rep" was going to be Curtis Peterson. He gave us the grand tour of a 36TKE, answered all our questions completely. Even knowing we were only on an exploration/investigation shopping trip, he was very thorough and patient with us. The sales staff from RV Outlet was very helpful as well and I have gotten a follow-up call from them as well (no pressure stuff, just touching base).

Anywho, just a note to say, stuff like this is what keeps Excel at the top of our shortlist... now I just need for retirement (Oct '09 or earlier) to hurry up... now if we can just find a 35 or 36GKE/GKM to see within a reasonable distance of lower Alabama..

I've met Curtis several times...he the "down home"..."where the rubber meets the road" kinda guy...no razzle-dazzle; fits the PI image darn good! He just helped me out the other day. When it comes to the technical stuff, especially electrical and hydraulics, they don't get no better. Thanks Curtis! Alright enough blowing his horn, we don't want him to get the big head!

We'll always be able to read you Tom.

You mouth is always going and going and going like the Eveready Bunny. So it's easy to figure out what may come out next.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

DW & I are taking delivery of our new 36 GKE on Dec 12th and will have it just east of Baton Rouge on the 13th to load it up before we head to Houston on the 14th. You are more than welcome to come take a look. Our house is approximately 170 to 180 miles from Mobile. Let me know if you want to see it.

Had lunch with Curtis Sat. in Sioux City, Iowa. RV Central was having a rv show and I thought maybe Curtis might have brought a unit in with the new bathroom. But no, he flew in so I can’t give you a report , hopefully there will be one at the Tampa show and we can get a report on it . Book2
