Michigan Road Conditions Hard on Fresh Water Tank

When we were coming up Hwy 131 from Indiana to Kalamazoo, MI we experienced some rough and choppy roads (no surprise). Some parts were so bad we slowed to 35-40 MPH. That said, we saw a fairly new SOB toyhauler on the side of the road and 2 guys dragging the fresh water tank back to the trailer! There was several folks pulled over and assisting, so we didn't stop, so don't have all the facts. Appears the rough road took its toll on the fresh water straps on this rig. Not a good way to get started off on a camping trip!

I try to keep my subjects to a 3rd grade reading level....do I need to lower it some more for you??!!! I'm just teasin'..but couldn't resist.

I didn't name the SOB toyhauler cause one of our most honorable dealers on this forum carries that brand and I didn't want to give him any unwanted exposure. Am I being thoughtful for a change??....you just didn't get any of it Doug!! TGIF

Thanks Doug, we were just having fun with you! I fill my fresh water with wine, since it weighs less than water and doesn't last too long in my tank!

Perhaps if they had slowed as you did, they would not have had that problem? Kinda like the guy that complained his 5er bucked severely on a certain highway, when it was suggested slowing down would help he got huffy.(another website)
