I was bored this morning so I added up the miles we have traveled since we purchased our Excel in April 2002.

I was amazed to find that we have traveled (approximately, sometimes the co-pilot did not do her job with the logbook ) 31,500 miles with that behind us.
We are not even full timers.

Jim

Yo-Yo red,

You are bored this AM!!!

Since you asked....we are about 37,000 miles in 2.75 years. Exactly as predicted. As you may guess, tires are just around the corner. Tom

We have logged 21,900 miles in about 3-1/2 years. We are not full-timers. Just doing the snowbird thing.

Paul,

We do not even do the snowbird thing.
Have to stick it out in the lovely Nebraska weather.

I know that is not a lot of miles for most in that many years.
Maybe I can convince the DW (and the bank, and the bill collectors, etc) that it is on it's last legs and we have to get a new one!!!

Jim

redcow,

My heart goes out to you having to spend the winters in Nebraska. You must be lonely as we see a lot of Nebraska people here in the RGV.

Just like I TOLD you!!! In a few more years.....you can legally call it an "antique" and someone very close to you sell antiques! Right?

Rockin, you'll have something in common with your Excel at that time. I'm already there!

Will we have had our Excel for 8 months and it has gone about 70 miles. That was from the dealer to the RV park we are in. Boy talk about mileage racking up. We have finished our job here in Oregon (there is talk that they want me to come back to work in a month or so ) but we can't get our stuff to Montana and out of Oregon right now because the weather is just not cooporating. We were sitting in the 5er today watching the snow fall around us.
