MSRP mark-down

What percentage mark-down off the MSRP should you expect from a dealer on the purchase of a new Excel?

The most you can get. At least 20% 30% would be a good average, 40% and you are buying my new MH.

Way too broad a question to get a decent answer on. Some things to consider:

*Is it an ordered unit? No floorplan if it's an in and out deal.
*Is it a straight deal or a trade involved?
*If a unit on the lot....how long has it been on the ground?
*Is it last model year on the lot about to have a birthday?

So many things to consider to give you the answer you're looking for. rockin'

Since this is a new 2013' probably not a lot! As posted, many factors like 2012 on the lot, 2011 on the lot, these are factors that negotiate the discount off MSRP. IMHO 20 percent would be real good! Best of luck!

RV Consumer Group - We Rate RVs This group sells a DVD or I think you can pay for a single report on whatever brand you're looking at. They list the margin mark-up, satisfaction rating's etc. Much of the reliability information appears anecdotal but at least it's a starting point. I've used them on two occasions and was pleased.
