Hey Washout!!!
While you were focused on "fixing things" Still and I went on a little shopping trip. Look what we brought home. This thing has the mother of all tilt/telescope steering wheels and I just couldn't resist.

It's a 2004 Volvo VNL42 630 with Volvo D12 (435hp/1550 ft lb), air everything, Lightning Super 10 transmission, etc. And like Tim said we'd be - We're all smiles and they're going to be lasting a long, long time.

Still and Tim gave me lots of help and encouragement as I came down the final stretch in making this decision (after a year of lurking, looking, and wondering). Frankly, I'd still be trying to decide what to do if I hadn't had the good fortune to have Still at my side for a few days.

Watch out Roseann, Bona can't wait to drive this baby. I think I'd better master that float shifting business first though.

I'm....mmmmm....speechless!!!! That's the "little suprise" you had for us if we came back by!! WOW! Am I the only guy with a LGT anymore??? Don't worry about the float thing......takes about 10 minutes to get it down.......for Bona...maybe 5 minutes.
I think ol' Virg has a auto shift......what a wuss!

I may have to come back down for a quick tour.....just to blow the carbon out of that Volvo!!!

Seriously......lots of luck with your new rig. I know your gonna love it. Watch out as it can get "stuck" verrrrrry easily!!!! Especially in the washouts! rockin'....yes I'm takin my ol' name back!!

Jim, how about pulling this off right under Washout's nose . He was even setting there when Bona ask me if I thought you were going to buy a truck . Sleeping at the dinner table again Washout, or was it another case of what you do best. "Running the mouth and not paying attention to what's going on around you."

Still,
Not to mention the premature post by Virg that Washout missed! I'm beginning to wonder if our Old buddy is truly washed out. Donna sure has her hands full taking care of him these days, poor lady.

I think I'd better shut up (for a while) before Washout finds something on me.

"Washout"...are you kidding me??? We all know that is takes a "Man's Man" to handle that many dogs ...and everyone around knows it is even harder to control those that are that small!

Jim- Congrats on your new ride!! I am sorry you were not able to show off for "Washout"...but I am sure Bona won't mind driving it into California to show poor Tom. (Hey Tom...You should at least get a New diesel from GM..it will run circles around poor Tug ... )

Jim- Again Congrats to you and Bona...I am sure you will love your new "Big Boy toy"!!

Jim,

Congradulations!!!! I'll bet you'll have many miles of good traveling with it.

As for being able to pull this off in from of Tom, it should have been very easy considering the "OP fog" that he runs around in all the time.

I think Tom's right. We should change his name but not back to what it was. Let's just call him "spinnin". That'll include everything. It'll take care of the tales he tells, his getting stuck in the "wash", the dancing he does in the pool with all those fine women and much much more. It'll also take care of the "OP Fog" that he gets into.

Anyway, have lots of fun and enjoy the ride. We'll for suresee you down the road.
