We can't get that expensive stuff from the WM's up here......so probably $20 a bottle not like the $3 stuff I have seen in the land of Ya'll.

In previous GM D/A trucks I had to install a fuse to get charging to the RV batteries. Is this still the case with the 2015's?

I wonder why they didn't install more common air (drum) brakes like OTR trucks commonly have?

My 2012 GMC Sierra came with the fuse installed. My 2002 Chevy did not.

Because I spec'ed the truck with the air disk's. More and more OTR trucks are going to the disk's. Proven shorter stopping distances and better heat dissipation.

Doc,
Thanks for the reply!

I believe 2012-13 was the last to have no fuse for that circuit from the factory......my 14 had it already. rockin'

Is the fuse in the box under the hood? Guess I should look just in case.

Went out to the place where I store my coach and did a trial hookup and plugged in the
ITBC and it worked just fine in my pull test. I had the door open and could hear the pump.

Rick do you know if one can order a Volvo 780 from factory like you did with your Volvo or just the model you have.

John
You can order any truck you want from the factory. But it sure was a learning experience to spec out a new HDT.

Just curious, why do you want to get an HDT? You have a late model dually that is well within specs for your trailer. Are you looking at getting a bigger, heavier 5th wheel?

No the 3500 that we have is a 2013 and it has 3:42 ratio and it does not pull hills very well at all and boggs down.
Plus we was looking at a HDT so we could go no trips and stay in truck overnight for a couple of nights.
