Well, today I got up a 4:00 am and drove to a city three hours south of us and test drove a 2008 Frieghtliner Sport Chassiss RHA114 with 1200 miles on it and full factory warranty. I really liked the turning radius and ride with air seats-suspension-cab. It is a big truck compared to what I'm used to but after few miles felt very comfortable with the way the truck handled. So, made the deal and will be going back to pick it up in a couple of weeks. It has everything that we could need to tow a big fifth wheel for years to come. Here are the few pictures I have. Very excited to get on the road this summer.

Nice truck! It should haul any fifth wheel with ease!

Congrats!

Congrats Rick on the truck. It will make a nice hauler for you. Glad you went this way instead of pulling with one of them LGT's (little girlie truck) like Washout uses.

Thanks! I guess this type of setup will be much safer for my family and I when we travel the Rocky Mountains like we do every summer. Hope Bryan gets that Wild Cargo to us by May long weekend. You guy's crack me up!

I have absolutely no use for something like that but that looks AWESOME! If something is worth doing, it's worth overdoing. Nice rig.

What kind of drivers license do you need for that rig?

You just need regular class 5 standard license here in Canada. The truck has hydraulic brakes so you don't even have to go for your air ticket. This was part of the reason that I bought this truck.

Rick, Nice truck. I'm glad you worked it out. You'll have lots of good miles in it. Take care, safe travels and we'll see you down the road.
