Wondering if there was enough Excel owners to have a club like the midwest owners have. Kinka feel left out out here in Washington, Realize that the units are made in Kansas but surely some might have migrated to the Northwest. Even birds migrate away from the midwest. If enough we could plan a campout someplace in the Northwest. I know some great places that are wonderful and free. Ted from Seattle.

There are two places that I camp in. One is east of the Cascade mountains by the Tennaway river called 29 pines. It is owned by the forrest company so it's still free. It is was owned by the state they would charge...big bucks. It is hot there in the summer and you camp by the river (you can walk across this one). No hookup, but outhouse, like the old days. The other place is at Mossey Rock my sisters place. Has nice grassy field with electric, no water. When we have camped there in the past I pay 2 bucks a day for electric. Few other places but not as nice as the former. Great place to camp in the summer, trees and mountains.... Let me know I can always set you up. Even can camp at my place... That's right were all family now, isn't that right..... Ted of Seattle

Oh heck Ted, I was hoping for the 100 amp hook up, lots of flashin' lights, happy hour and dancin' girls! Welcome to our little silly world, Ted! Thanks for the invites!

But, even the Southwest is sadly lacking in Excel Clubs. The New Mexico club is the only one I know of, but there is none for AZ, CA, NV, UT.
To the OP: We'd certainly be interested in attending any NW Excel get togethers since we normally spend our summers in WA & OR. Athough, this year, we're considering going to Alaska again if fuel prices remain relatively low.

Say if enough is interested I can set up a rally on Harstine Island. My cousin has water and electric (50)amp. We had my family reunion there two years ago, and it's even better now. Located north of Shelton about 15 miles on hwy 3. Rt 3 is the highway that goes to Port Angeles. Maybe even have some strobes, pop, and entertainment.... Nice flat place to camp with lots of trees around. Sign up today, and plan for next year. If they can do it in the midwest, we can do it in the Northwest. We don't need many because the place is always empty, and available. Ted
I'll even be the tour director....

Forgot to mention that Harstine Island has the only bridge going to it in Washingon State. You don't have to have floats on your rig to get there.
