Morning,
Have been organizing the different user/info manuals that came with my unit. I appear to be missing two. Not sure if they were not available or misplaced over the years. Would like to download the manuals, if available, but need additional info. Anyone know:

1. Winegard's wing antenna. Have the web site, might need the model No. to narrow the search.
2. My unit has electric rear stabilizers, Can't find any reference to who made the jacks in the PI owner's manual, just how to operate. Anyone with a name or web site.

Thanks, Chris

Chris,
Couple of sites where you will find a lot of service/user manuals are: Bryant RV Service and Aerolite.

Chris,

Just to hitch-hike on Max1 info. Here is the link to the Outrigger Product info. Barker Product Info Nice info. If you ever need any help from Barker Manufacturing, talk to Bob at ext. 303 at the customer service number...he is great and knowledgeable. I've had my Outriggers apart and feel like I know them pretty good if you need help on anything.

Thanks everyone for the help, the Barker site was what I was after. Haven't had any problems, just like having the information on hand when needed.

Chris,
Glad to be of assistance. Ijust want to add always be sure to raise your rear outriggers before you start to raise the front landing jacks or you will bind them up and once when I did this they were so bound that I blew a fuse for the outriggers that is located in a bundle of wires on street side inside front generator compartment. Its I beleive a 15 or 20 amp regular tube type automotive inline fuse and furtunatly we were at a KOA that had some or we would have been stuck with them down. We now carry extras There is also a post on this site that tells how to raise them manually wich is also good to know.
quote:
John,
Just got off the phone with Bob at Barker. Bob says you can manually raise the strut by removing the power head. He says two 1/8" allen screws and one 5/16" bolt. With the power head is removed it will expose a coupler with a slot in it. I think he said turn counter clockwise with a screw driver to raise it. At any rate, you can e-mail him at the following address:

Boba@barkermfg.com

Hope this helps..............

All the best,

Bob

Sorry I know this all may be a little off topic though good info IMO if you have the Barkers.
Paul.

Paul,

Thanks for the extra info on raising the jacks and fuses. I know the fuses you're talking about.

After having my prior unit for so long and knowing where everything was located, its slow to build that information knowledge back, but getting there. As you know somethings remain the same between units but some can be a hunt.

Thanks,
Chris

When I grow up I want to be just like you guys. I am so far away from organizing my owner's manuals, I can't even imagine that.

And "knowing my Outriggers pretty well". The only part of this coach I know pretty well is my recliner.

I have all my manuals nicely and neatly in a large notebook....page dividers and all. Now if I could just get my bride to READ them to me!

Paul,
I don't think Tom and Virgil meant any harm to anyone on this forum. Virgil was complimenting the folks that had their owner's manuals organized and Tom tagged on with his method of organizing the papers.

Let's move on -- life is too short to do otherwise.
Thanks,
John

Paul,

Thanks for throwing the book at them! I would have done it myself but you beat me to it. LOL

Do agree all the topic are serious or they wouldn't have been asked. Some are seeking information, others for assistance and maybe this is what I do over here. I also enjoy a little humor at times just to keep me straight. This is how I keep my manuals:

Yes, I keep mine in binders also. One for the unit itself, items that are installed on the 5th and would go with it whenever. A small one for items that are used in conjuction with the unit but I would keep if ever sold. Such as the gas grille, battery charger, Tote-along tank etc. A binder for maintenance articles, toubleshooting tips and other information that I think might be of use someday. A forth binder, small, is used to keep maintenance records, receipts, current warranties etc. Yes, I keep most everything in sleeve protectors.

I think imformation is everything, the more I think I know, the more I realize there is still a long way to go.

Thanks for the help!
Chris
