Good morning;
I have a 2003 Excel 33RSE and now have the tow vehicle, a 07 Dodge mega cab 5.9 which has the short bed. Has anyone put a longer pin box on their Excels? I have put in the B&W companion hitch but think it would be prudent to get a longer pin box, not an extender because they raise the trailer height. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks
Rick

Hi Rick,
Yes they do make a longer pin box and on your unit.......I believe it was a Fabex brand. I used to know the part number off my head, but that was too many bottles of wine ago! (I think it was the 765 model) The only thing you need to be cautious of is making a sharp turn (like a U-turn) as the longer pin box will cut into the inside of your bedrails of your truck due to the longer length. HTHs rockin'

I do not know on the pin box extension, I had and liked the PullRite Superglide. Was in a F350 shortbed.
