Last week at the HDT Rally, with help from a couple guys, we got our new Pressure Pro installed. Each morning when we are moving I craw up into the cab and can look at the tire pressure of every tire without moving.

This morning was different. I started the tractor and immediately the inside left dually position started beeping. It had dropped to 90 pounds from 107. We were in the mountains and it was cool this morning. I added a little air and we were off. This thing has saved me several minutes every morning on the days we are moving. I can check the tires in about..2 minutes and don't have crawl under the slideouts.

I have one too. I love it. I only wish I had a tool to hold the sensors for the inner dualies when I screw and unscrew them. Maybe we can figure something out. I just haven't had time yet. I saw a tool called Valve Pal for such a purpose, but I believe it fits a conventional valve cap.

I had a low reading the other morning (about a week ago) in the mountains near Asheville.

Funny, at first I couldn't figure out where the beeping noise was coming from in my cab!!

I didn't add any air though, a few minutes after I pulled out of the Walmart campground, the pressure came up.

Virgil, did you get the extra antenna, or not?? sometimes I loose readings on my roadside trailer tires, and I'm thinking about getting the remote antenna.

Doug,
I got the repeater that installs in the back of the fiver BUT I have not yet installed it. I too am loosing signals occasionally. Gotta get that thing wired up. I bought some splicer connections at Wally and need to pick out a 12V wire and get it powered up but as yet have not done so.
Bruce,
I had to crawl under and stick my hand between the duallys to reach the valve stem to get the cap screwed on. On one side I have a long extension but guys are telling me it will be trouble eventually and not to get another.

Doug,
I too loose readings on the trailer sometimes. I asked on another thread awhile back if any body else was having this problem and didn't get any replies. I have tried moving the moniter to different locations in the cab but that didn't help. I have also moved the sensors to different locations and that has not helped. I have found that when I loose a location, if I unplug and replug the system that the lost sensor usually comes back. I have a friend who just bought the system and he is having the same problem. I didn't think I would need a repeater as I'm not pulling with a HDT.

If you don't have long metal valve stems (NOT extenders) -- like these -- it's well worth the money. Makes airing up the tires, especially the inside duallies, a snap. And the stem on the inside dually comes out far enough so that taking the Pressure Pro cap on and off isn't a problem.
