We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our L35RSO (sometime in later June) I have been researching the products that will keep our rig lookinng good. The one constant is: Gelcoat will deteriate if not protected and automotive waxes and sealers that contain petroleum and or silicon's actually speed up the deteriating process. Also, waxes don't protect that long!!Listed below are sites that provide these products. You be the judge. I emailed 303, listed below is there response.

Yes 303 will keep the gel coat fiberglass looking new. You can apply twice a
year or more if needed.
Regards.

Dennis,
First, welcome to the "Excel Owners Forum"!

Another great product for Gelcoat finishes can be found at the Marine Store. Sold under the product name of Vertglas. The product is purported to seal the gelcoat and stop oxidation. Because it seals the gelcoat surface, it prevents future oxidation and builds up a shine. As you apply more coats, the shine becomes brighter and provides extended protection. I have not tried Vertglas but have read positive comments from other Rv'ers.

Thanks for the information. There's alot of "experience" on this site! When we get our coach, the first item on the agenda is to protect it from the "dryheat" here in AZ.
