I totally understand your commitment to your Zoey. Our little Boston turned 13 last week and has been a joy. She was a rescue also, but only 4 weeks old when we got her. We have had a number of dogs thru the years but she has been special. When I fell off a bicycle and broke my pelvis shortly after I retired she was my constant companion during my six month healing process. I wish God would have given them a longer life span to match ours because letting go is so hard. So far is she is showing only a few, minor signs of aging and we hope to continue our travels with her and her running mate, a 9 year old Boston.

The DW has often said, "You've never been loved, until you been loved by a Boston." At the time of the photo, I was recovering from rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder. It was worth the discomfort.

I installed Pergo in the stick house, since we had dogs and cats I used lots of the Pergo waterproof glue and lots of rubbing to remove the excess that oozed out. Cat's knocked a watering can over one night. Found that it was not waterproof and it raised the surface around the affected joints. Not happy with that.
