Question for Moderator
Can this forum be modified so that there are sub-categories. Unless I'm overlooking something it appears there is only one category, "Excel Owner's Forum" with thousands of messages. It would be nice to have sub categories such as Appliances, Frame, Suspension, Plumbing, Electrical, Interior, Exterior, Solar Power, etc.
Anyone else agree? Any comments or input?
Just saying.
Don

We haven't done this on any manufacturer forum as it would create many forums with little use and further fragment our forums.
We do have forums for appliances, systems (electrical, plumbing, etc), technology, towing, etc., as these are common to all RVs.

Don, the Excel forum is too small for subcategories. I will do a search within this forum to search for Excel specific posts on appliances, etc.
One suggestion for the Moderator: Decrease the number of Sticky topics or make an option not to show sticky topics. With the mobile app, all of these must be scrolled past to see current topics. Some of the Stickys are outdated. Example Restoration 101: Life of a 2001, Great thread and info, but not topical to current Excels.

There is an option in the app to turn off the stickies.

It is possible to edit posts...but you must do it within a short time window. If you wait too long after saving a post, the option to edit goes away. Not sure what the time window is exactly....but I've gone back within 10 minutes and been able to edit.

Can you direct me on how to turn off the stikies on the mobile app?

Thanks!

I agree that the Droid app is not user friendly.

Russell,
Thanks for the response and I now understand the reasoning.
Thanks again,
Don
