I want a rack to hang on the forward wall of the basement to store aerosol cans. It would be nice if it would hold about a dozen or so cans.

Anybody know where one could find such a rack?

Heck,
I bet if you gave him the dimensions, the Workhorse, would probably build you one out of pecan encrusted walnut! And I bet it'd shine like a diamond in a goat's bu**.

That wall is soooo blank. Think how much could be stored up on that basement wall out of the way if someone would just turn his cabinet makers loose on the wall.

What ever you do...make sure it's waterproof!

BTW, how's the latest water leak project going?

There I go again...hijacking another thread!

CW sells what they call "canvas shoe pockets" for storing shoes. I bet it could also hold aerosol cans. It wouldn't look as good as pecan encrusted walnut though. Watch the temps in the basement. If it gets hot enough, and you have paint cans, it could look like a bunch of hippies were turned loose down there.

After finally wording the Google search phrase correctly, I found a solution....

I ordered two and I'll report back how they work.

Looks to me Virg you found the right racks. I knew I should have waited till this morning to start planning this project. I had at least three options, none with pecan as I like that in my pies.

Just another of those projects where its easier to buy than build. Light weight, secure and cost effective. Would agree there is a lot of 'little' spaces in these things that can be used if we knew what to do with them and modify them to our needs. One of the things I'm finding is the outside storage my unit has is a lot less than models just a few years newer.

Good find.
