Does anyone know where I could buy a Coleman Mach thermostat? This web page appears to have the direct replacment for mine but doesn't seem to have any information of where to buy...and they don't sell direct to consumers... http://www.rvcomfort.com/rvp/product...ies/rvc_hc.php I like the Hunter digital replacement mentioned here http://www.klenger.net/arctic-fox/hunter-tstat/ from another thread in the Excel forum but I don't know if I could wire it in (the one to the left of the Hunter on that web page is the Coleman Mach I have now).

The circuit board on mine current thermostat was probably damaged when excessive pressure was accidently applied to the temperature slider (fell against it). Now, when the AC has cooled the coach to temp, everything shuts down -- AC, and the Fan which is set to manual high -- and does not come on again unless I move the mode switch to "off" for a while, then back to Fan or AC.

Brian,

These are simple to wire in. About 15 minutes of your time. I did mine and was very please with it. One thing to make sure to do is turn it to the off position when you get ready to move to a different location. My mine doesn't always work and I have ruined a couple of these. I used the Hunter as it is easy to find.

Go ahead Tom take your best shot at me!!

Brian, I got a replacment for my bago about three yrs. ago from RVComfort, and I am thinking
it came from Kansas City!! And again, I think it was like $115. or so.... And about a yr. or
so ago someone paid $80. for the same coleman Mark II thermostat. The problem with the orginal
stat was it would not always pick up the second compressor. Tenn.

I replaced ours with a digital Hunter thermostat. $19.95 from Wal-Mart. Uses 2 AA batteries and works great. Check the Open Roads forum key words Hunter Thermostat and it'll give you full instructions.
