Unfortunately I'm unable to continue as the Excel Forum Leader due to personal reasons. It's been a great experience and I wish the forum the best – I'll remain a member and visit frequently. Thanks to each of you for all your support. I hope one of you will volunteer to continue leading the forum.
John

John;
Thank you so much for helping to start the forum. This media has been a tremendous benefit to me and Peterson Industries.
I can definately say that we are building a better product today than before the forum existed.
I hope someone steps up and fills your shoes... even though they will be hard to fill.
From all of us at P.I., best wishes and don't be a stranger.
Bryan

John,
I salute you for bringing your vision of an Excel owners forum to fruition. It has been a fun ride until recently when the usual seeds of the self-righteous started to grow. If there is anything I have learned in life it is that nothing stays the same or last forever. Thank you for your service, both here and before.

I want to thank you for all you have done in getting the Excel fifth wheel forum going. We really appreciate it!
I'm sure it is a frustrating job at times. I think in the future we all need to make an effort to stay focused on Excel discussions only. This forum is no place for personal bantering.
Chief, we again thank you for your service and wish you the best in all that you do!

Thanks for all you have done on here John. It has been a pleasure reading all the great information that you have provided and the care and understanding that you have given to the forum. As a dealer we have learned a great deal from being on the forum and reading everyones posting. Our door is always open to you, so stop anytime that you may be in the area...

John,
Thanks for being you. You did a great job and I am sure the Excel Forum will not be the same without you.
I know this is a thankless job and you did it in spite of the people on the forum.
I think after the recent things that went on that it will forever change the way I view the forum. I used to be excited to see who was on and what the talk was about, I am not sure I will have the same enthusiasm as before.
It is so sad when the vocal minority cause the majority to quit or give up. I guess what they say is true; the squeaky wheel gets the oil.
I hope to run into you and Marilyn on the road or at least during the next PI Family Reunion.
Be Well

Chief,
I'm sorry to hear that you're resigning. However, I do understand some of the background. You have done an outstanding job of maintaining an appropriate level of decorum/order in what, I believe, has been one of the best RV forums around - if not the best!
I am hopeful the common sense will eventually prevail so that we can continue to enjoy the camaraderie and fellowship of our fellow Excel owners and admirers while at the same time sharing valuable lessons learned.
Best wishes and thanks again for a job well done.
Jim R
P.S.: You will be missed. Stay in touch.
