I saw Rockintom mention that he, and clspds are going to be in the RGV area this winter.

Who else is headed there?? and how about we try to put together a dinner/ meet and greet??

We are headed to Mission next week, and should be there for the rest of the winter.

Maybe we can put something together in conjunction with the PI luncheon over in Donna in February??

What do you all think?

Sounds like a great idea! Just give a little warning and what to bring and we will be there!

Sound like fun! Tom

Anyone one else? I think Vaughn and Duana stay in our park. When I get there I'll check and see.

Tom,
Vaughn told me that he is not going to give you a better deal so you can just stop with the kissing up.

still not sure when we are leaving Spring Branch, but we should be in Mission this weekend. Our resort has a wonderfully equipped inside/outside community kitchen (and grilling) area.

I'll have to check out its availablity, once all the construction dust has settled. I know the indoor area is already being used for 4pm happy hours.

Doug,

Are you still out there? I sent you an email about a week ago regarding getting together and haven't heard from you. Just figure your busy with getting your place together. Hope all is fine. Would like to see your park and place as we discussed! Give us a call or email! Later, Tom

Let's make this happen!

There is a nice place kind of inbetween where Paul and I are staying called ""Pepe's on the River".

Nice (enough) place that has a band playing every day from 2-7. They are right on the river. (if we are lucky, we can root on some "swimmers" to the north side! )

It is right off Conway, south of 83. Great fried shrimp, burgers, BBQ, etc.

We are pretty flexible on dates/times

Doug

Doug,
We've been there several times. The only turn off in this place is that they won't do seperate checks, and a friend went the other day and they charged him for an "imported" beer price for a Shiner (Shiner is made at the Spoetzel Brewery in Shiner TX) and had to worked his way up to the manager who wouldn't not correct/adjust the bill. He said "never again". FWIW. Tom

Doug,

A get-together sounds like fun. Unfortunately, we are running out of time. We have friends visiting with us until Monday the 18th and we will be leaving the Valley on the 23rd. We hope we can meet up with you at the Excel Luncheon and make plans to get together next year. Sorry, so much to do and so little time.
Paul

Group,

Are we going to have a corner to meet in either before or after the luncheon at Victoria Palms?

It would seem to be a good place to meet many of those in this group and maybe others will get curious about what we are doing all bunched together.

Anyway, hope to see some of you there,

Alright, now I am getting jealous.
Everbody down in RGV should know that we had several inches of snow this morning and temp in the mid to high 20s.

I will be there next year!
