I wonder what date these statistics are from? I was very surprised to see Oregon ranked so low, since they've been working on almost every bridge in the state for the past several years!

The data is from the December '08 issue of Roads & Bridges magazine, source: 17th Annual Report on the Performance of State Highway Systems (1984-2006).

I had given up on getting the pics posted, I see MM has come to the rescue once more! THANKS

I drove over that bridge in Minneapolis six hours before it collapsed. Makes one grateful!

OK, so the most recent information was from 2006 which might explain why Oregon ranked so low, although they've been working on the bridges in the state since before 2006.
