I know this has probably been discussed and cussed many times, but searches didn't enlighten me. I want to know what other Classic and RT owners use. I have tried the flow through brushes and a sponge mop w/ Ivory liquid and Fulltimers Choice roof cleaner. It looks worse now than when I started. None of the above would remove the tennis shoe prints I was leaving and the constant bombardment of buds off of the maple tree left instant red spots when they hit a wet spot. I certainly don't want to use anything that might damge the material. Any help would be appreciated.

Humm , I know I"m in another thread on this with much the same O/P.

Same as a kitchen floor, Spic & Span, mop bucket water

There are several other cleaners you could use in place of Spic & span.. But the basic product line is "Same as you might use on a Kitchen or Bathroom floor"

It is a floor, 2nd story, but it is still a floor, treat it as a floor, just don't get too close to the walls, cause.. There are none

I bought the commercial RV rubber roof cleaner. One of the considerations for me was to get the UV protection. YMMV. BTW, a little goes a long way, as the small bottle that I bought should do at least two cleanings for my Wild Cargo (40' roof). And yes, be careful on a wet, soapy roof because it gets quite slippery. Don't forget to wash and treat your slide roofs, as well.

What was your source for the product you used and what brand? I made a mistake about the brand I used. I had used "Fulltimers Choice" previously and found it worked fairly well. The waste of money I used the other day is ProtectAll. You might as well pour water on it.

I have used the Do=icor product before, would not remove the black spots on top but cleaned everything else real well. You can read about it here http://www.dicor.com/Product.aspx?ID=14

I have actually ordered some of that product, but backordered. I figure that they made it so they should know what to use on it. You read how you're not supposed to use products that contain petroleum distillates, but most roof cleaning products contain them. Go figure.
