RV FlexArmor Roof from DFW rvroof.com

We had a new roof applied on our 2013 Excel Winslow 34IKE 5th wheel at DFW RVRoof.com in Denton, TX. We sustained damage from an incredible hail storm with baseball size hail last June in Lubbock, Texas. The new roof is a polyurea spray on coating, similar to a truck bed liner but 5 times thicker and more flexible. It has a transferrable lifetime warranty. The techs at RVRoof are professional and meticulous. I highly recommend their product and service. Visit rvroof.com for additional info. Contact Dewayne or Mark at DFW RVRoof to get a leak free, lifetime roof on your RV. Click image for larger version

Winslow's had rubber roofs. I check mine frequently and so far so good. Ours is still in good shape probably because it lives indoors when not on the road. Baseball size hail would not be good no matter if it is in great shape. I think you made a good choice, Russell, and it looks fantastic. If I ever need a replacement it would be my choice. Any damage on the slide roofs? I know they can't put the coating on them.

No visible damage to slides. They can't do slide room roofs unless slide removed. They can't seal the pressure from the 2200 psi spray.

Again, cost to do. Did they remove existing items on the roof?

With RV FlexArmor they remove AC's, vent covers and vent stack covers. They remove about one foot of rubber roof around perimeter. They remove any non-bonded rubber roofing.

About 10k for lifetime roof sounds like a pretty good deal.

Russell, I know it’s been only a couple of months for your new roof but I was wondering if you are still 100% satisfied yet.

I bought a 2014 31IKE new with the Rhino roof and had a life time warranty with Excel on it, how could I go wrong. Well right after Peterson went out of business I got a crack in the roof and it leaked. I have been patching the roof here and there ever since with Eternabond, which has been working well so far. Now the top coating of the Rhino application is flaking off, so I will have to do something soon. I am kind leery about a spray on roof because of my past experience with Rhino roof.

I will be staying in Hickory Creek COE next week so I thought I might drive up to Denton and talk to RVRoof about my roof situation. Any advice from you would be helpful.

I have had no problems or complaints. I know guy with 10 year old FlexArmor roof and he reports the same.

The Rhino Roof material Peterson Industries used was not flexible enough. Plus, they did not have the experience in proper priming and application. I am happy it was not an option in 2012 when I ordered my 2013 Excel Winslow 34IKE.

Contact Mark or Dewayne at DFW RVRoof.com. They will show you what they do and why it's a superior roof replacement product. I went to the shop for a tour before I scheduled. I was impressed.

Sorry about your cracked Rhino Roof. Unfortunately, you're not the only one...
