We would like to get our annual electric brake check up on the 5th. As we are currently in Yuma, we could take it in here as we prepare to leave or we could stop in Goodyear, our next port of call.
So does anyone have any recommendations for Yuma or Goodyear?
As always, thanks!!

From what I hear Al's Rv has a mobile repair That's good. I have no experience with them. You might also ask some of your neighbors in the campground and also at the office.

Al's RV Service & Supply

11274 S Fortuna Rd, Ste U, Yuma, AZ zip code

(928) 342-5816
Phone
Website

They have a store at this location that is nice but know your prices some deals/some not deals like most RV lovations.

We are on the east side of town in the foothills getting ready to head north to QZ on Sat. Would have liked to meet you but we "want" to see "KnotHead" Tom so we need get moving.

What do you get checked annually? Your brakes should be self adjusting

According to our manual and other comments here on the forum, the electric brakes should have the hubs pulled, the parts checked, and lube the pivot points. At least that is our understanding? We have the never lube wheel bearings that don't need work, but we thought the brakes should be checked.

Not-working...we hope to meet Tom somewhere too...maybe we'll see you then. Where are you headed after Q?

Loralie,

We be spend time at QZ with Tom & Jim. From there we'll head up to Parker and Lake Havasue for a couple of weeks. Then we'll be coming back to Yuma for about a month.

We had a good experience with Al's RV last year. Our tech was well qualified for what we needed and didn't waste time. We would return if the need arose.

On the other hand, we have SKIA on site up here just 65 miles north of Yuma. I think he's chompin' at the bit to get at fixin' up somebody's rig.

Thanks everyone. We made an appointment here in Yuma (RV Masters). Recommended by the campground and close by. We will stop there on our way out and hope the checkup doesn't take too long.
This wind sure is amazing!!

Notice that the wind (30+ mph) is coming out of the north. As you will recall, ole Rockintom is north of Yuma right now. No rocket science needed to figger this one out!
