Question? Are the breakers to the pump hooked up in line, otherwords,

POWER TO THE BATTERY POST OF THE CIRCUIT BREAKER----WIRE OFF THE OPPOSITE SIDE TO THE BATTERY POST ON THE OTHER CIRCUIT BREAKER-----AND THEN WIRE TO THE HYDRALIC SELINOID.

Double check to verify that is correct maybe as well. This will give the breakers the 100 amp voltage protection.
If that is OK, willout hands on, we don't have an answer for you.

Good Luck

I was incorrect on the last connection. It needs to connected to the aux. side post NOT the battery side.
I also spoke with Lippert and they feel that you are getting the full 100 Amp draw on your unit. They suggested adding another 50 amp breaker, giving you 150 amp protection. He also stated that you can go to www.lci1.com and go to service and warranty screen, go to Lip Sheet Screen and select 0058 sheet and this will also show how to proper wire the block.
Just some new information that we have recieved for you.

That is a very useful site to bookmark! I downloaded 3-4 of those sheets for future reference.

Thanks for the information Wrongway.

We're headed for Smith Center...will be there by Monday...so the factory can diagnose and fix the problem. Curtis said we'll be at the main plant so the team that works with the hydraulic system can work on it. One thing Curtis said they'll try is to replace the 2 50-amp circuit breakers with one 100-amp one.

I'll post here on what the solution to the problem turns out to be.

Wow you got in fast. I had to wait until mid-August to get in, and I need a roof repair. Now that's pull!

Phil, I'm not sure how much pull we have. The work isn't going to be done at their service center; instead, we'll be at the main plant so that the crew who installs the hydraulics can work on the problem.

If we were having work done that would be done at their service center, I'm sure we wouldn't have been able to get in until late this summer, early fall, either.

You're fulltiming so your problems are fulltime and more urgent than mine! I'm glad that PI found a way to accomodate you. I hope the 100 Amp breaker will be up to handling the load w/o too much work on your slides. Maybe the breakers just need a little more "surge" capacity.

LindaH, Sure would like to know how this turns out! I have a different model but have four slides nonetheless. I mentioned before that I know those folks at Moriarty and I cannot see them turning down your business, esp warranty, because you did not buy it there. I even work with their kids at school so know the family. They are good, competent folks who work hard and welcome all that come thru their doors. We will be at the Turquoise Trail Campgound near Cedar Crest till May 26 if you are in the area. We will be offline during that time. Their alternate phone to Moriarty is 505-832-6114. Phil

Phil, hopefully we will be in New Mexico by the 26th! We were planning on being there by now, but got delayed by our trip to the factory.

I'm not sure which state park we'll hit first, but there is one just south of Cedar Crest, so if we're in the area, we'll stop by and look you up.

We didn't have time for many photos today after our factory tour, but I noticed in this photo that the new service center can be seen in the background on the right hand side across US 36. George explained to us newbies on the tour that this is where the original factory was located that burned down in 1983. Peterson Industries, Inc
