I'm getting settled in my new job in AZ; we're staying at Mesa Spirit in Mesa. We weren't able to get our second A/C installed at RV Sales before we left Abq, so we'll have to get it installed here. I'd like to get it done well before the summer heat arrives. Anyone have personal experience having work done in the Mesa area? Can you recommend a good dealer/shop? Thanks.

Sorry Glenn, I'm no help......but don't you get weekends off now? That would be a snap to install. The hardest part is getting the AC unit on the roof and then you just slide it up a 12 ft. ladder. Don't forget 13,500 BTU low profile. rockin'

Thanks, Tom. I've identified the correct unit per your recommendation, a Coleman Polar Mach Low Profile, 13,500 BTU unit. My concern is dropping it on the way up to the roof! So I figured I better get someone else to do it.

I'm just down the road in Apache Junction. Shoot me an email if you want a hand hoisting it up the ladder.

As you know, I have to work REALLY hard during the week, so I would have to do this install on a weekend, which I like to reserve for RELAXING!

I may take on this project myself after all, but probably not until next month. I presume it will take a week or so for the unit to come in after I order it. Thanks for the offer to help Bobby.

I have used Dillon RV in Apache Junction, a former Excel service center.

I do not recommend them. I really do not recommend them.

We have had really good success with:

Arizona RV Service
Daniel Prock
3818 E. LaSalle St.
Phoenix, AZ 85040

(602) 437-6939
azrvservice@cox.net
www.arizonarvservice.com

He does on-site service or you can take your coach to his location above.

Dan does a really good job.

Thanks for all the references. I'm leaning towards a mobile service. I already got a quote from the local Camping World to use as a basis. I'll call the various mobile services in the next few weeks to see what they can do. No big hurry to get the second A/C installed; I'm thinking sometime next month. Thanks again!

Danny just finished our A/C installation; took about an hour and he did an excellent job! Another recommendation here for AZ RV Service if you are in need while in the Phoenix area!
