Sorry Chief,
Spent the day at Donna's surgery Dr. Left early this AM and just got home. Things are really looking up. Got lots of encouragement from the experts today. Donna is updating the blog soon. Gonna go for a walk and clear my head so I'll be in good shape for happy hour! Thanks everyone for all the positive wishes and prayers...they do work!

Chief,
Are you trying to stir the pot? Want me and Tom to take Curt around the block?

Alright, NOT FAIR. I haven't even been given the tools to corral you guys. And, you are threatening to pick on me already? Just you wait.

Oh no, Tom, Larry, Larry and I are all angels We would never pick on anybody
I know things have changed from the original plan but it would have been fun.

I guess I need to jump in here. I have been in Creede, CO at our CO Excel club meeting and then drove down to Chama, NM for the Excel club meeting. Chama does not have internet access and in Creede I was to busy having fun. Seems like we are all just angels. I can't remember the last time i did anything wrong.

I am now sitting in the Alamosa KOA waiting to get my truck towed to the dealer to repair or replace the transmission, stuck in low gear and when I let off the gas at 20 mph it locks up the rear wheels for about 20 feet.

Lots of fun.

Tom,
So glad to hear about Donna, you two have been in our thoughts and prayers even though I haven't told you until now.

Larry,

We are just north of you, about 20 miles north of the Great Sand Dunes NP here in Crestone, CO packing up to hopefully close on the sale of our house in the next few weeks. Our Excel 5W is down in Mariarty, NM getting some tweaking for our first voyage out of town with it.

My DW was summer activities director at the Middlebury, IN KOA this past summer while I foolishly thought I could make money delivering RV's out of Elkhart, IN.

Best of luck on your repairs. We have bought a couple of trucks from the Town & Country sister dealership up in Salida, CO a couple hours north of Alamosa.

Dave
