Sorry about that. On the 2013 model there are 3 valves to turn down near the water pump. The one for the clear plastic hose that sucks up the solution, and then one on either side of the pump. These are the only three valves in that area. The the fourth valve is the water heater bypass inside the rig. I just didn't know if previous years since doing away with the gravity fill were the same--thus my shorthand reference
On another note, there isn't insulation around the hoses coming out of the pump, but something has sure quieted it down. May be the rubber mounts its on are different, or may be something shurflo changed with the pump. Not sure-but I like it.

Thanks......now I get it! You gotta remember I have an IQ of 14!!!

What model Shurflo do you have in your 2013? The 2088 Classis or the new "Revolution" pump. Also there is the Extreme Series (optional). The pumps are easily idenitified by the pix below. Easy to glance at the pump and tell which you have. The one on the left is the 2088 Classic with 3 chambers. Old standard technology....the most noisey. Revolution is newer and has 4 chambers and much quieter while pumping a bit more water. The one on the right is the Extreme series and is a higher volume and still quieter, newer technology and the most expensive!!!! rockin'

It appears to be the Revolution.

And I forgot with all the valves I turned-I also bypassed the water filter, which I guess brings the number of valves up. The longer I think about it-the more complicated it starts to sound. I better stop thinking about it LOL

I imagine they don't need to be so careful on insulating the water pipes with the Revolution (model 4088) as the pulses/vibration would be way down since it has 4 chambers. The old Classic 2008 (3 chambers) is a hammerin' mother goose. However with proper insulation as I've descrbed before you can make it respectable.......when our Classic is runnin' you can barely hear it in the kitchen. My replacement will be a Revolution or Extreme Series when my ol' Classic craps out. rockin'

Looks like these are the 4008 model-not the 4088. But seems to do the trick.
