On the outside upper corner of the slides where the roof meets the sidewall there is a patch of plyable sealant about 3"x 5". It is light grey in color, maybe just dirty. One area needs to be repaired because of a crack in this material. It is not caulk. What is it and where can I get some?

We were recently at Peterson and bought a tube of
"dicor 551-LSW, White Lap Sealant, Non Leveling/Non Sag (Formulated for 1/4"-3/8" Bead)" for what I believe you are describing.

It sounds like butyl tape to me. Is it real sticky if you try to remove it? If so it's probably butyl though I thought it was used primarly for seams and such but who knows I may learn some more here again If it is butyl any rv shop should have it for you to purchase.

Im very fimiliar with butyl tape and Eternabond tape. I used both extensively on a 71 Airstream that I restored about five years ago. This material seems more like the Dicor product mentioned above. Maybe I'll call PI. Thanks

Jerry,
IF you read here much, you'll know that I'm not the mechanical type but I think you are looking at Dicor Self-Leveling Lap Sealant.

You can see it at....
http://www.campingworld.com/browse/products/index.cfm/O...ove-Grey/prodID=5737

or at....
http://www.tlcentral.com/Store/pc/vi...&idproduct=672
