(Really confused)

The Problem Statement: No signal to TV for DVD or Cable. Haven't tried antenna but assuming same situation.

Hardware: Westinghouse LCD TV - original from PI, Winegard Model VS53DVD/VS5312D Video Distribution Center (Winegard Movin' On system hasn't been used yet) - original from PI, Dish 311 Receiver (?) (also not used yet) - original from PI, Integra DVD receiver - PI delivered to replace original Jamo receiver.

Background: At time of delivery on the new trailer the technician noted how difficult it was to get the system set up and running. I had a little difficulty the first time, last June, then all was well. When I replaced the Jamo DVD receiver with the Integra unit somehow I managed to get all the connections together in the right place and everything worked fine last fall. Then I winterized the unit, not touching anything in the subject system, and watched the snow fly while the Michigan housing market went deeper and deeper into the dumpster. Now we're about 98% moved from the stick house to the Excel (finishing tomorrow) and I can't get the darned TV working. So far all I've managed to do is to get sound on DVD. I think I've tried just about every combination imaginable.

Any help out there from a similar system - I don't think the Jamo/Integra switch is a factor since everything worked fine at the time of the switch.

Shotgun approach

1)TV on Channel 3?

2)On distribution panel there are 3 switches for each input. If you are trying for cable, make sure you have the cable switch depressed for the TV you are trying to use.

3) Did you verify your cable source with another TV OUTSIDE the coach?

4) can you run a cable extention through the door straight to the LR TV to verify the TV is good today?

5) Is the Power switch ON for the distribution panel?

Virg,

Thanks for the ideas. Right now it's 38*, raining and windy. I'll try the cable direct to the TV after the climate improves. In the meantime I cranked up the antenna and TV is fine on antenna.

In the meantime, the Shift Supervisor has rolled out and it's time to put some order to the contents of the stick house which she insists will easily fit here. We'll see.

I'll let you know how the cable direct to TV works out later.
