I would try jacking the axle up to take some weight off the shackle. This has worked for me in the past.

I've experienced dirt or foreign material that pluged the grease zerk port and had to be replaced with a new one, then worked fine. Most are threaded, but some are now pressed in, and come in different sizes so check that if you do replace it. I've never replaced a pressed in one, it may require taping? Very inexpensive item. Good luck.

Never jack up a trailer on the axle. Always use the spring shakle or you might bend the axle
