The flexible hose to the shower head is attached to the shower control body and I had the shower head laying in the floor of the shower.
Water does accumulate on top of the shower control (fauset body) as it comes out of the where the hose attaches to the fauset body. It always leaks a LOT when I turn off the water. I think it is designed this way to drain the hose???

Virg,

I had the same problem. I replaced the faucet and the leak was no more. The guts of the original faucet on mine was plastic. I bought a replacement at CW and the guts are brass. If you find the original thread on shower faucets leaking you will see some others had other ways of making the repair. My new faucet is designed with the shower hose coming out of the bottom.

I doubt Lowe's will have what you want. RV dealer should have it.

I have seen a RV shower faucet in Lowe's...it was in the plumbers section, where they just a few RV pieces. However, the faucet was in a shrink type packaging and I couldn't inspect it to see if it had brass or plastic guts. I didn't need it...was just curious. Tom

Virg,

Sorry, but my computer will not show pics on the CW site. The description sounds like it. 4" center and brass underbelly. The price is close to what I paid. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Thanks for the response.
You may have to cut and paste the webaddress to a new session.

One more question. Did the "old" shower head fit on the new faucet body or did you have to order a new showerhead assembly also?

Just takin a break from waxin'.....Virg, I believe all the RV style shower faucets use the 1/2" NPT size thread. Good luck!

You may want to check and see if the CW website has been blocked from your computer. My lovely bride blocked it since we were "over budget" with CW! Just kiddin'

Virg,

The old head worked with the new faucet. I have had my IT expert (cloud of cloudspeed) check this out and can't get pixs. I don't function very well with high tech equipment.

Tom,

I have questioned my CFO (also cloud of cloudspeed) and she claims not to have tampered with the CW site. Although I wouldn't put it past her.

Paul
