Shower frame manufacturer?

Need to replace the glass shower frame in my 2008 Excel 33RSO. Tried to call PI last week and got a nasty shock Does anyone know who manufactures them? Could also use any recommendations concerning installers.

Curious minds want to know what was the "nasty shock?" The fact that Peterson Ind. has shut down? The price of a replacement?

Unless it is some custom install in a custom shape, most any shower installer should be able to fabricate a new shower door for you RV. Just start calling local contractors and find out who does this kind of work in your area.

Yes, so sad they're no longer in business. They were always so helpful whenever I called.

I'm not looking for a door only, but the entire neo-angle glass frame. Can a residential shower and installation stand up to bouncing down the road at 65 mph on a regular basis?

I bought it from a private party. But I'm happy to entertain recommendations of an Excel dealer who Excels in service

RV Sales in Moriarity NM . Give them a call I bet they can point u in a good direction. But as stated..there's nothing special about the frame. Most shops that do custom shower and tub installation have to make or order custom size and shape glass frames.

Other than a positive latch to hold the door closed, I don't see any difference in residential or RV showers. Tempered glass is tempered glass, Aluminum channel is aluminum channel. If only the glass is broken, a good glass shop can measure, order, and install a replacement glass.

I saw in another thread that a company called Arlwin Manufacturing Co, Inc
made the fiberglass portion of the showers for Excel. You might check with them. They may know who manufactured the glass portion. Let us know what you find out.
