Still, that even ran through my spell check, now if I was texting that wouldn’t have happened. And you’re right it was suppose to be running!

Guys..Can you guess what emoticon I got put back into the system!!? With that being said...
HPD..."funning" would pass the spell check because it is a word ...it will only correct it if the "mis-spelling" is not a word.....
OKay..back "On Topic"...

Good idea. I will try using propane. We're heading for the west coast tomorrw, to cooler temps. And I'll get a smaller second fan than the one I'm currently using, which hangs via a bungee.

Chris - I want your refirgerator. As you can see, I don't have the same access.
Top access. Note coils.

Fan under top coils, and pipes below

No can get to that fan without pulling refrig. Probably all the way out, rather reaching in from the back, I reckon.

Thanks for something else to do Bruce ! ....after looking at your photos, I noticed that the layout of the area behind the upper grille was different. First thought was__no wonder its not cooling, look at how high the baffle/panel goes up...the top grille is almost covered up?!?! Mine is wide open.

After a review of the install manual for my refrig unit, mine wasn't installed correctly and have two baffles missing. The one to direct the air up and past the upper coils and the other to deflect that air out to the grille openings. Still seems to work but wonder if it could be better.

Would guess that your fan is located in the same general area as mine but can see why you can't reach it now. Is the baffle covering the opening removable or is it part of the wall? Bet if its removable, you can reach the fan without removing the refrig.

Living here in Florida and its temps in the summer...will have to add installing the two baffles as a project and upgrade to help with the cooling. Should be able to do it without removing the refrig. At the cost of the fan...will replace it at the same time and maybe keep it with all the other 'stuff' I don't want to part with yet.

In a prior post I indicated the fan as .03 amps ___ should have been .3 amps.

My plywood baffle is part of the exterior wall.

I think my problem with refrig temps goes beyond the fan. After all, I place a reasonable temp fan at the base, blowing upwards. Yet my refrig temps lately hover in the low 40s, sometimes higher. Way beyond a safe level. Yet my freezer stays at 10 degrees. You'd think that the rising heat would affect the freezer more than the refrig, but .

I looked at the installation manual for my 1095, but can't adequately understand the diagrams. Would need to print it out and cross reference all those numbers and pics. Forget it.

I don't know why RV manufacturers don't install the roof vent rather than these side vents. Heat rises. Doesn't naturally make 90 degree bends.

I plan to ask the refrig tech to look at the whole gizmo, more than just the fan. Will see him in one week, if we avoid food poisoning.
