Ok after about 3 months on the road we got home and I was washing the 5er. I noticed that the big slide seemed to have dropped about 3/4". I noticed the graphics did not line up along the side wall and slide. There is no evidence under the slide of anything loose, bent or broke and it goes in and out fine and no leaks. It looks like I can support the rams, loosen the bolts on the attachment plate, jack it up and re-tighten. I'm I in over my head, has anybody done this before?

Hey Chief,

I think you are approaching this correctly. However, look at where the plate meets up the slide walls and look for witness marks of where the nuts/washer have possibly moved during travel (maybe nuts weren't good and tight). If so, than use a floor jack with some lumber and move the room as needed (back to original witness marks). If you don't see anything that indicated the room has shifted or dropped.....I'd start looking for something bent or maybe call SC for further advice.

BTW: 53 cases of OP in the slide will make the room flex a bit! Always gotta get my teasin' in........

Please let us know what you find out.

One corner of my big slide dropped down. PI gave me the same advice that Rockin has.

FWIW, last month I tried jacking up the corner. The slide moved up. But it didn't stay up. I think I will loosen both sides next time.
